Dr. Nena Korunda is a board-certified internal medicine physician who treats patients age 14 and up in Naples, Florida. She is dedicated to treating each of her patients as the whole, unique individuals they are – and she especially enjoys rooting out the underlying source of a patient’s ailments, rather than merely treating symptoms.

Dr. Korunda received her medical degree from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in Croatia in 1995. She then completed her internal medicine residency training at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Korunda’s academic appointments include serving as a clinical assistant professor at Nova Southeastern University in Naples, Florida.

Respected and admired by her colleagues and patients alike, Dr. Korunda is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and has published papers and abstracts in the field of medicine. She stays abreast of the latest medical innovations, so that she can provide her patients with the most comprehensive and effective treatments possible.

Dr. Korunda is fluent in English and Croatian.
